As depicted in the art, Nahiri was the first to find the Lithoform Engine, but to her dismay, it was Nissa who got to use it. The engine exerted all its power to strengthen Zendikar's wilderness and the underlying leylines, robbing Jace of the opportunity to research the artifact and Nahiri's quest to rebuild Zendikar in her image.
