It's name may be taken from Arthurian Literature, but, unlike in those tales, no one on Eldraine is foolish enough to try and hunt the Questing Beast (although Rankle did make it cry on one occasion). This mythical creature determines who may take the High Quest - the trial to determine who becomes High King of the Five Castles. The last two given an opportunity by the Questing Beast were Algenus Kenrith and Linden, but the now-queen sacrificed her opportunity to save the lives of Algenus' children - Will and Rowan.

And yes, it has a lot of abilities. It's a three-headed beast with three seperate personalities, so cut it some slack, okay? You want to make it cry just like Rankle did? Is that how you get your jollies?
