These days, Megrim spends most of its time serving Tinybones or Nekusar but it made a big and brief spash in traditional constructed. A deck based around activating Memory Jar multiple times in a single turn used the black enchantment as its win condition - opponents discarding more than enough cards for them to lose at the End Step. Randy Buehler and Erik Lauer both piloted this deck to a top 8 finish at Grand Prix Vienna in 1999. Memory Jar got banned just a few weeks later.
